The Boulder Roubaix was last Saturday. When I left Colorado Springs at 9am it was a downpour. My drive up north took over two and a half hours because of poor visibility, which put me in Boulder with just enough time register, pin my numbers on, and get to the start line.
For the first two laps we rode the dirt roads in the rain. Eventually the sun did come out, but I didn't notice until our last lap.
The muddy conditions of the road made it feel like I was riding with a flat tire. I was with the front group until the last lap, until I lost my line and got sucked into a mud puddle. I managed 7th place.
It was epic.
Pictures.

Awesome.
It was.
The conditions could have been more perfect for a "Roubaix" style race.
I don't know what it is, but your bike is utterly PRO looking. Maybe its the color coordination, or the campy groupo, or even the san marco saddle with the big letters...anyways I'm super jealous of it.
Thanks man.
